The Quality Manager is responsible for understanding MKS2’s products and services and design and implement a strategy throughout the organization to ensure products and services are developed and delivered in alignment with industry best practices and customer expectations. This requires collaboration with technical project managers, scientists, engineers in production and in research and development to fully understand the products and how they are meant to function. The Quality Manager will be responsible with assisting departments by testing it at various development stages through rigorous protocols meant to simulate many conceivable usage scenarios. The director of quality will be responsible for assuring service/product compliance with applicable federal and state regulations including good manufacturing practices provisions and coordinates the required reports to Federal and state agencies.
 
Quality Manager tasks are as follows:
●      Implementing methods to inspect, test and evaluate products and production equipment, professional services provided.
●      Assures quality products and processes by establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials and products.
●      Preparing reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing data
●      Working according to contract-mandated deadlines for the delivery of products and services to multiple customers
●      Performing detailed and recorded inspections of final products so the products are up to industry and company standards.
●      Creates product quality documentation system by writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
●      Collaborates with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs and manufacturing and training methods.
●      Develops staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
●      Ensures quality by planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
●      Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
●      Achieves financial objectives by preparing the quality assurance budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
 
Education requirements: Bachelor's degree
Experience Requirements: 1-3 years of experience in quality management role in software development or professional services organization
Clearance Requirements: Must be eligible for a Top-Secret security clearance
