You Will Make an Impact By:
- Serving as the primary point of contact within the plant for all procurement activities and tasks
- Managing the supply base to avoid and resolve delivery, quality, and pricing issues
- Coordinating and streamlining plant procurement activities with Procurement Service Center Buyers to meet and exceed production needs and prevent interruptions
- Driving supplier approval processes and developing suppliers in inventory management, Kanban, 3PL, consignment stock, and lean principles
- Managing inventory availability and health, including inventory planning, forecasting, and vendor operational improvements (efficiency, fill rates, lead time)
- Identifying and managing supply risks related to supplier financial instability or insolvency
- Capitalizing on current and future procurement opportunities to maximize leverage across categories
- Leveraging knowledge of supply market trends, associations, and trade indexes to inform procurement strategy
- Travel Requirements: Up to 20%–30% travel to suppliers and other MKS facilities, as required
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, supply chain management, logistics, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, inventory planning, or capacity planning improvement
- Demonstrated experience with demand planning and materials management tools
- Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Office
- Advanced skill level in Excel and PowerPoint
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability and willingness to influence change and challenge the status quo
- Experience developing suppliers using lean principles
- Familiarity with Kanban, consignment inventory, and 3PL models
- Experience working in a manufacturing or plant-based environment
- Hybrid role requiring on-site presence at least three days per week
- Work performed in a combination of office and manufacturing plant environments
- Ability to travel locally as required (20%–30%)

Compensation and Benefits:
- Salary Pay Range: $71,000 - $118,00 per year. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law.
- Bonus: This position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, in an amount to be determined by MKS [or as applicable].
