A Day In Your Life At MKS
As a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at MKS, you will partner with the Operations Team to evaluate and improve the manufacturing processes. In this role, you will report to the Sr. Supervisor of Manufacturing Engineering.
You Will Make An Impact By
Designing and implementing new fixtures or improvements to existing fixtures
Reviewing engineering documentation for manufacturability
Data collection and interpretation
Shadowing/assisting with machine operation and maintenance
Reviewing manufacturing processes and brainstorming potential improvements
Reviewing and writing SOPs and Work Instructions
Travel Requirements: Up to 0% of Travel is required. Role is 100% onsite, no remote option.
Skills You Bring
Level of formal education (if needed), license/certification, etc.
Years of job-related work experience
Basic knowledge of hand tools
Basic knowledge of microsoft office products
Basic knowledge of CAD software
Preferred Skills: (Optional)
Experience in Solidworks
Experience with 3D printers
Experience with mills or lathes
Physical Demands And Working Conditions
Physical Demand: Occasional lifting of heavy objects
Working Condition: Active production manufacturing environment
Compensation And Benefits
Hourly Pay Range: $23.00 to $31.00 per hour. This range is a good faith estimate of the expected salary range for this position, based on a wide range of factors including qualifications, experience and training, operational and business needs and other considerations permitted by law. At MKS, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
Benefits: MKS offers a benefits package for interns/co-ops working at least 20 hours per week, including 11 paid holidays, sick time, and 15 paid vacation days accrued on a biweekly basis.
