We are partnering with a well-established Mechanical Construction and Engineering firm in Phoenix to find an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Mechanical professional who thrives in both a project leadership and client-facing business development capacity.
The Role
Our client is looking for someone who can own the full lifecycle of complex MEP projects while simultaneously helping to grow the business. This is a high-visibility position with real influence over the direction of the firm.
What You'll Be Doing
- Managing multiple concurrent MEP projects from kickoff through closeout — on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards
- Acting as the primary client contact, building lasting relationships and ensuring satisfaction at every stage
- Preparing detailed cost estimates and competitive fee proposals in collaboration with discipline leads
- Driving business development through networking, outreach, and proposal leadership
- Mentoring junior project staff and contributing to a strong team culture
What Our Client Is Looking For
- 5 years of project management experience in Mechanical Project Management
- Hands-on estimation experience — you know how to build a competitive, accurate proposal
- A proven business development track record — you're comfortable in a room with clients and know how to win work
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or similar
- PE or PMP certification is a plus, as is familiarity with the Phoenix market
