Risk & Claims Manager | Civil General Contractor | Orlando, FL
A leading civil self-perform GC in Central Florida is looking for an experienced claims professional to own their risk and claims function end-to-end.
The company runs a large fleet, significant field headcount, and high claim volume. Right now every decision escalates to senior leadership. This hire takes ownership of that.
What you'll own
- All active claims across workers comp, GL, auto fleet, equipment, and utility strikes
- Settle-vs-fight decisions, with real autonomy as trust is established
- Annual insurance renewal and day-to-day broker and carrier relationships
- Field incident response protocols
- A small in-office team, reporting to the CFO
What we're looking for
- 10 years in claims with strong exposure to construction-related types
- Commercial adjuster or senior claims handler background - insurance-side candidates are actively encouraged to apply
- Management experience and the ability to build process, not just execute it
