We’re looking for a Mechanical Engineering Intern to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita location (in office). As an intern, you will help with the design of various projects that may include refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and more.
What You Will Do:
- Gain diverse experience by working on a variety of real-world projects.
- Learn and use industry-specific design software.
- Work directly with licensed engineers, project managers, and designers.
- Learn the full design process from start to finish.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
Requirements:
- Actively pursuing a Mechanical Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Exposure to or awareness of industry-specific software (AutoCAD and/or Solidworks) is preferred.
- Strong desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
- Positive attitude, strong enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
