What are the responsibilities and job description for the Drafter – AutoCAD (Structural) position at MKEC Engineering?

We’re looking for a structural AutoCAD Drafter to join our Industrial/Energy team at our Wichita location (in office). This individual will assist with the design of a variety of projects that may include refineries, ammonia/fertilizer plants, logistics/terminals, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Provide drafting support to engineers and designers.
- Create drawings with input from engineers and designers.
- Incorporate redline changes into existing drawings, as directed by engineers and designers.
- Assist the project team in meeting client expectations and schedules.
Requirements:
- Associate's degree in drafting or related area.
- 1-3 years of experience with Autodesk products.
- Proficient in AutoCAD.
- Experience with Revit is preferred.
- Experience with SDS2 is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Attention to detail and adherence to drawing standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Desire to be part of a team-oriented culture.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Compliance with client drug and safety programs.
