Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Crude Oil Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of crude oil experience and tankers. This role involves transporting crude oil safely and efficiently while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. A strong focus on safety and customer service is essential.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles, including tractor-trailers, tankers, in a safe and efficient manner.
- Execute route driving to deliver freight to designated locations promptly.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, ensuring proper handling of materials.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours driven and vehicle inspections.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety compliance.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding route changes or delays.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies while on the road.
Qualifications
- MUST HAVE Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) CLASS A CDL W/HAZMAT with a clean driving record.
- MUST HAVE CRUDE OIL TANKER EXPERIENCE
- Experience with manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with operating refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and other types of commercial vehicles.
- Previous crude hauling experience is a plus.
- Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
