We’re seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support our client's day-to-day financial operations and ensure accurate, timely reporting. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to grow their accounting skill set.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and post journal entries with accuracy and consistency
- Reconcile bank accounts and key balance sheet accounts each month
- Assist with AP/AR processes when needed
- Maintain and organize financial records in accordance with company policies
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities
- Prepare financial reports, summaries, and supporting schedules
- Assist with annual audit requests and documentation gathering
- Maintain fixed asset listings and depreciation schedules
- Support budgeting efforts, including variance analysis
- Provide accounting support to internal teams and respond to inquiries
- Take on additional projects or tasks as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Strong Excel skills and exposure to accounting software (NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, etc.)
- High attention to detail and strong analytical mindset
- Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
- Clear communication skills and strong organization
- Works well both independently and collaboratively
