- Operate the cash register and POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for retail sales transactions and cash handling
- Manage cash drawer handling with precision, balancing registers at shift end and maintaining accountability
- Conduct product demos to showcase features and benefits, encouraging upselling opportunities to maximize sales
- Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure an attractive and well-maintained store presentation
- Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Assist in merchandising efforts by arranging products according to planograms and store standards
- Support inventory management by stocking new items and participating in stock counts as needed
Skills
- Proficiency in POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math for accurate transactions
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally
