Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Beverage Equipment Technician to join our service team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, diagnosing, and repairing commercial beverage equipment at various restaurants and other locations throughout the MD/DC/VA market.
Responsibilities
- Install beverage, soda, and ice dispensing equipment according to manufacturer specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal equipment performance.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and plumbing issues using diagnostic tools.
- Repair or replace faulty components to return equipment to normal operation.
- Read schematics and communicate with team members to diagnose system problems accurately.
- Operate company vehicles safely and according to the company guidelines.
- Provide excellent customer service. Communicate clearly with customers about issues found, repairs made, and maintenance procedures.
- Maintain vehicle inventory.
- Communicate with office staff to provide details of work performed and resolution.
Skills
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in appliance repair and installation.
- Proficiency in reading schematics for electrical troubleshooting.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment for repairs and assembly.
- Knowledge of refrigeration, plumbing connections, and electrical related to beverage dispensers.
- Experience with maintenance and repair practices in a field service setting.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Experience with coffee/tea brewing equipment, carbonated beverage dispensers, refrigerated or ice cooled dispensers, frozen beverages, water filtration and/or have an EPA certification is very helpful.
Must have a valid and clean Motor Vehicle record. You will be driving a company vehicle and will be dispatched directly from your home each workday. You must have a safe location to park the vehicle at night, and without commercial vehicle parking restrictions.
Must be a US Citizen, have a high school diploma, have the ability to work independently while troubleshooting and repairing systems.
Pay: From $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
