What are the responsibilities and job description for the Civil Earthwork Foreman/Superintendent position at MK Excavation?
We are hiring an experienced civil earthwork foreman / superintendent.
Must have real field experience with earthwork, grading, sitework, GPS, and civil plans. This person needs to be able to help run crews, coordinate equipment, track daily work, and keep production moving.
Required Experience
- Civil earthwork / grading
- Reading civil plans
- GPS layout / grade checking
- Handling GPS files
- Coordinating with survey
- Coordinating with machine control
- Running crews in the field
- Excavation, backfill, compaction, pads, roads, and sitework
Preferred Experience
- Storm drain installation
- Water / sewer / utility pipe
- Trenching and bedding
- Working with inspectors
- Bilingual English/Spanish
This is not an entry-level position. We need someone dependable who can read plans, understand grades, work with GPS/survey data, communicate with the office and field, and take ownership of the job.
Pay depends on experience.
Must be able to pass a background check and pre-screen drug test.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
