Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning tools and techniques, including buffing and floor care procedures.
- Conduct industrial and commercial cleaning tasks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of workspaces by removing trash, sanitizing surfaces, and organizing supplies efficiently.
- Assist with custodial duties such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, and polishing to keep all areas pristine.
- Support facilities maintenance activities by reporting any repairs needed or hazards identified during cleaning routines.
- Use janitorial experience to handle specialized tasks like carpet cleaning or light maintenance work as required.
- Follow health and safety guidelines consistently to create a safe environment for all employees and visitors.
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience with a strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, waxing, and polishing.
- Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
