We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Assistant Property Manager to support the daily operations of our property management team. This role involves assisting with property leasing, maintenance coordination, and compliance with relevant regulations.
Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day operations of the property, including tenant relations and property maintenance.
- Handle leasing activities, including showing units, processing applications, and preparing lease agreement.
- Maintain accurate records through data entry and filing systems.
- Utilize property management software such as AppFolio for tracking tenant information and maintenance requests.
- Manage customer relationships to foster positive interactions and resolve conflicts effectively.
- Coordinate property maintenance requests and communicate with vendors as necessary.
- Support administrative functions, including phone etiquette, upselling services, and managing contracts.
- Assist in the implementation of marketing strategies to attract new tenants.
Skills
- Proficiency in property management software AppFolio.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on conflict management and negotiation.
- Understanding of Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law.
