Plumbing Lead Journeyman

MJM Mechanical is hiring motivated and hardworking individuals to join our team as a Plumbing Lead Licensed Journeyman). MJM Mechanical has been around for 15 years and is still locally owned and operated by the original founder. This allows for a workplace where every employee is involved and valued and earns their wage based on skills attained and demonstrated. Applicants for the Lead Plumbing Journeyman must have at least 4 years experience AND hold a local Allen county plumbing license or the ability to get one ASAP. For those of you that have even more experienced and / or looking to move up into a company that truly values their team members, we would love to have you continue and grow with our team!

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license
• Reliable car
• At least 18 years old
• Ability to lift at least 70lbs unassisted
• Clean driving record
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Ability to stand for extended periods of times
• Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail

Responsibilities (varies by position)

• Install Plumbing piping and fixtures per local codes from the ground up (new construction), rough ins, and finals.
• Coordinate with supervisor for schedule of the daily or weekly projects.
• Communicate any items needed that weren't already delivered to jobsites.
• Inspection of area for cleanliness after job completion
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring cleanliness and organization, both inside and out
• Maintain a professional image
• Following all safety policies and procedures
• Other duties as assigned

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $38.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
