MJJ Electrical. is looking for an experienced Service Electrician to join our team.
The electrician will be responsible for responding to electrical service calls throughout the Five Boroughs of New York City and Long Island.
Responsibilities
- Perform electrical service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, and installations
- Diagnose electrical issues and determine appropriate repairs
- Work independently and interact professionally with customers and clients
- Travel throughout NYC and Long Island
- Complete service reports and accurately document work performed
- Document materials and equipment used on each service call
- Maintain a clean and organized company vehicle
- Respond to emergency service calls when required
- Follow all applicable electrical codes and company safety procedures
Qualifications
- 7 years of electrical experience preferred
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Must be comfortable working independently
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
- Must have reliable transportation to and from the company/shop
- Must have your own basic hand tools
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills
- Ability to work throughout the Five Boroughs and Long Island
- NYC electrical experience strongly preferred
