What are the responsibilities and job description for the On-Call RN (Per Diem) position at MJHS?
Our groundbreaking hospice and palliative care programs offer a significant difference when dealing with a life-limiting condition. We offer a broad range of services in the community or facility-based to help patients and their families ease the burden of managing a life-limiting illness or end of life care.Reporting to the RN Team Manager, this position will triage all calls for Hospice patients from 5pm-8am and provide direct nursing care to patients when a home visit is necessary. Will develop and update the plan of care as needed requesting written orders for changes from the physician. Will document all nursing care provided into computer and will update status of patient as needed. Will communicate all changes to patients condition to primary RN case manager. this is an Office Field position.$55phhome care, nursing, RN, homecare, nurse, hospice, home care hospice, hospice nurse, hospice rnGraduate from an accredited school of Nursing. Minimum 1-2 years experience in either medical/surgical, Community Health and/or Hospice/oncology Nursing preferred. Knowledge of Word, Windows and Excel required. Good communication, listening and teaching skills required. Drivers license and car also required.
