Position Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial PR Executive with a strong business development and sales mindset to join MJH Life Sciences. In this dynamic role, you will not only lead the PR division but will also drive the growth of our business by identifying and capitalizing on new sales opportunities. You will play a pivotal role in both shaping and executing bold, strategic PR initiatives while expanding MJH Life Sciences’ market presence and client base. This is a unique opportunity to lead, innovate, and make a measurable impact on the company’s growth and success in the healthcare communications space.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and Execute PR Strategies: Lead the creation and execution of comprehensive public relations strategies that enhance MJH Life Sciences' reputation and visibility within the healthcare industry.
• Business Development & Sales Leadership: Identify and pursue new business opportunities by leveraging industry relationships and innovative sales strategies to bring in new clients and expand the company’s portfolio of services.
• Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with existing clients while cultivating new business prospects. Engage with key decision-makers, offering strategic PR solutions that align with their goals and drive business growth.
• Team Leadership and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing PR team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation. Provide strategic guidance and set clear goals to ensure team success.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with internal teams across marketing, sales, editorial, and other business units to ensure alignment of PR initiatives with the broader company objectives and sales targets.
• Media Relations and Thought Leadership: Manage media relations and oversee press releases, media events, and thought leadership initiatives to position MJH Life Sciences as a trusted industry leader. Drive engagement with key media outlets to amplify the company’s messages.
• Sales-Driven PR Campaigns: Develop and execute targeted PR campaigns that not only enhance visibility but also directly contribute to sales and business development efforts. Leverage PR strategies to attract potential clients and close new business.
• Brand Representation: Serve as a spokesperson for MJH Life Sciences at industry events, conferences, and in media interviews, representing the brand with professionalism and credibility.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a senior-level PR role, ideally within the healthcare, medical, or communications industry, with a strong focus on business development and sales.
• A visionary leader with the ability to build, scale, and drive a PR division while simultaneously identifying and capitalizing on new revenue-generating opportunities.
• Demonstrated success in business development, including sales strategies, client acquisition, and relationship management in a PR or related field.
• Extensive network and established relationships within the healthcare or media industry, with a track record of generating new business and driving sales growth.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills, with a proven ability to influence decision-makers and close deals.
• A strategic thinker with the ability to develop actionable plans and deliver measurable results, particularly in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Ability to thrive in a dual-role environment that balances PR strategy with business development efforts.

Compensation Range

$125,000 – $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications. Eligible for annual company bonus program or commission incentive based on role. The compensation offered to the candidate selected for this position will depend on several factors, including the candidate's educational background, skills, and professional experience.
