Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Automotive Detailer / Reconditioning Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for cars and an eye for detail, ensuring that every vehicle is cleaned and presented to the highest standards. This role requires strong customer service skills, as you will be interacting with clients to ensure their satisfaction with our services.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning and detailing of vehicles, both interior and exterior, to ensure a pristine appearance.
- Wash, wax, and buff vehicles using appropriate cleaning products and techniques.
- Vacuum and shampoo carpets and upholstery, ensuring all surfaces are spotless.
- Clean windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces to achieve a streak-free finish.
- Apply window tinting as needed, following company guidelines for quality and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the detailing area and equipment.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
- Drive vehicles safely within the premises to facilitate the detailing process.
- Install fender flares, rocker panel covers, new floor mats.
- Touch up paint where needed
- Aid in shop cleaning and taking out trash and other shop upkeep tasks
Experience
- Previous experience in automotive detailing or custodial work is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with car wash techniques and equipment is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- A valid driver's license is required to operate vehicles safely on-site.
