Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000
Responsibilities
- Entry- to mid-level member of a geospatial group specializing in all aspects of infrastructure mapping and terrestrial LiDAR including data collection, 3D modeling, mapping, and app development
- Work with the team by utilizing a variety of GIS, CAD, and programming software to complete mapping and GIS projects
- Completion of 2 years college coursework with a concentration in GIS, land surveying, or similar with an additional 1-3 years of related experience; or any combination of relevant education and experience that provides proficiency in the following:
- The fundamental principles and technical skills related to GIS mapping and data management including database setup, data development and QA/QC, and map creation
- The Esri GIS software platform for desktop and web including ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online
- Setup and utilization of web GIS / GPS field data collection using ArcGIS Online and Esri Field Maps
- General office software such as Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Google Earth, etc.
- CAD drafting in AutoCAD or MicroStation
- LiDAR data collection, processing, extraction, or management
- Data conversion and exchange between GIS and CAD platforms
- Web GIS development using ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavasScript or similar
- Python scripting and automation
- Understanding of ArcGIS Enterprise
- Infrastructure record plan georeferencing, interpretation, and data conversion
- Read and interpret maps and plan drawings
- Communicate effectively and work collaboratively with others
- Excel in a fast-paced work environment
- Learn new skills both independently and under the direction of senior staff
