Accounting Clerk

MJ Tank Lines, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Accounting Clerk to join our team in Ventura, CA. This role is ideal for someone to grow within accounting and administrative functions while supporting multiple departments.
You will learn and work closely alongside our current Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Payroll staff to gain hands-on experience and provide essential day-to-day support.
 Key Responsibilities

• Assist with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• support payroll processing alongside current payroll clerk
• Help with customer billing and invoicing
• Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy
• Run office errands and support daily operations
• Provide administrative support to Human Resources and other departments as needed
• Maintain organized and accurate financial and administrative records

Qualifications

• Experience with QuickBooks Desktop (required)
• Experience with Accounts payables & Receivables
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word
• Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Dependable, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
