We are seeking a skilled Preventative Maintenance Technician to support the reliability and performance of our bakery production operations. In this role, you will perform routine maintenance and inspections on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure maximum efficiency and minimize unplanned downtime.

Key Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) on bakery equipment including conveyors, mixers, ovens, packaging lines, proofers, and refrigeration systems
- Conduct routine inspections to identify wear and tear, potential failures, and safety risks
- Accurately document maintenance activities, parts usage, and equipment status in the CMMS system
- Assist with equipment repairs, adjustments, and component replacements during planned maintenance windows
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to complete PM tasks with minimal disruption to operations
- Monitor inventory of critical spare parts and communicate restocking needs
- Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety, sanitation, and quality standards (GMP, OSHA, HACCP)
- Provide recommendations to improve maintenance procedures, schedules, and documentation
- Support troubleshooting efforts and root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues
- Participate in continuous improvement and equipment reliability initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in maintenance, mechanics, or electrical systems preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in food production or manufacturing
- Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and drawings
- Experience with CMMS systems and diagnostic tools
- Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks such as climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or extended hours as needed
