Job Title: Material Handler/Order Selector
Location: Nashville, TN
Shift: 1st Shift 7:30AM-4PM Monday-Friday *Potenial Saturday if needed
Pay Rate: $17 per Hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Material Handler / Order Selector to join our cleints Moving and Warehouse team. This role involves accurately selecting, staging, and preparing customer orders, as well as handling, organizing, and moving materials in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, good physical stamina, and experience operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and cherry pickers.
Key Responsibilities:
Pull, organize, and stage materials and moving equipment based on customer orders and job requirements.
Load and unload trucks using pallet jacks, dollies, hand trucks, and powered equipment.
Operate forklifts, cherry pickers, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
Verify accuracy of orders and document inventory movements using inventory systems or manual logs.
Wrap, pack, and secure furniture and other items for safe transport.
Maintain organization and cleanliness of warehouse space.
Assist with warehouse inventory counts and restocking as needed.
Inspect and report damaged or missing items to supervisors.
Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Work closely with drivers, movers, and warehouse staff to ensure efficient flow of operations.
