Field Service Repair Technician

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Field Repair Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing equipment in the field, ensuring that all repairs meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while providing exceptional service to our clients.

Duties

• Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions using various tools and techniques.
• Perform repairs on-site, ensuring minimal disruption to client operations.
• Utilize an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical components and systems.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding repair status and recommendations for future maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company policies while working in the field.
• Collaborate with team members to improve repair processes and customer satisfaction.
• Repairs to battery operated and corded floor scrubbers and sweepers.
• Repairs to ride on scrubbers and sweepers.
• Repairs to corded and battery upright vacuums.
• Installation of chemical dispensers to commercial dish washers and 3 bay sinks.
• Minor repairs on commercial dishmachines.

• Qualifications
• Proven experience as a Field Repair Technician or similar role is preferred.
• Proficiency in using an ohmmeter and other diagnostic equipment is essential.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with clients effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for travel to various job sites.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or training in a related field is a plus.

Pay: $21.00 - $24.75 per hour
