Responsibilities
- Restrain animals safely and compassionately during examinations and procedures.
- Complete patient intake and record relevant clinical information (Pulse Practice Management Software).
- Measure and document vital signs.
- Perform laboratory testing and support clinical pathology activities.
- Assist with radiographic procedures.
- Administer medications as directed.
- Assist with surgeries, dental care, and anesthesia monitoring.
- Maintain accurate electronic medical records.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in veterinary technology.
Preferred Qualifications
- Animal handling experience.
- Knowledge of veterinary anesthesia, radiography, clinical pathology, and pharmacology.
- Experience with surgical assistance and electronic medical records.
- Compassionate communication skills.
