Duties will include, but not be limited to, cleaning floors and food making equipment, manually loading and unloading raw materials, supplies and related components, provide break to operators, operate and monitor machines and equipment and maintain simple paperwork.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with Mizkan America safety policies, OSHA regulations, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices), and SOP (Standard Operating Procedures).
- Perform manual labor which supports the continuous operation of the production line. Such duties may include, but not be limited to:
- Sweeping, mopping and washing of floors and equipment.
- Loading and unloading of equipment, materials, production components and/or raw materials and ingredients.
- Operation of production machines and equipment to provide coverage for machine operators and technicians while on break or absent from work.
- Operation and simple maintenance of equipment for which the associate is trained.
- Rotate duties with other workers at other locations in the plant as required.
- Performs simple quality inspections of product, materials and ingredients to assure compliance to standards.
- Maintain simple records and paperwork related to inventory and quality.
- Performs other duties required of the position or as directed.
- Perform all TPM activities as required.
- Relief Tech I – certified on less than 2 work centers
- Relief Tech 2 – certified on at least 2 work centers
- Relief Tech 3 – certified on at least 4 work centers
- High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required
- Excellent attention to details and accuracy required.
- Must be respectful and work well with all levels of personnel.
- Great work attitude, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work overtime on short notice basis. Long-term, temporary assignments to any shift may be required to maintain manufacturing processes.
- Ability to work in high temperatures (hot or cold), working at heights and exposure to strong smells, dust, gases, fumes and chemical or require personal protective equipment.
- Ability to use Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to pass a post offer pre-employment drug screening, pre-employment background check, and pre-employment physical.
