Miyako Hybrid Hotel Torrance is looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor.
The Food & Beverage Supervisor assists in the coordination of activities of the Ise-Shima Restaurant and Bar, Room Service and Banquet to maintain and to improve food quality, service and merchandising to affect increased sales and profits.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Directly supervises 25 employees Server, Bartender and Host/Hostess in the Food & Beverage Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years previous experience in the job position beneficial.
- Previous Hotel F&B management/supervisory experience preferred
- Must have experience directly supervising employees
- Excellent verbal/written communication and guest service skills
- Excellent judgement and decision-making skills
- Must be willing to work a flexible schedule consistent with the needs of the property
