Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead/Manager Bartender or Per Diem Bartender to elevate our bar service and create memorable experiences for our guests. Duties
- We are looking for 1 full-time lead manager bartender and per diem staff.
- Lead and supervise the bartending team to ensure efficient service and high standards of quality.
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
- Manage bar inventory, place orders, and maintain stock levels to meet customer demand.
- Train new team members on POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS, food safety protocols, and responsible serving practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders accurately, and handling special requests with enthusiasm.
- Oversee cash handling procedures, including cashiering duties and balancing registers at shift end.
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations, alcohol laws, and health standards in a busy nightlife or banquet environment.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area while managing time effectively during peak hours.
- Assist with event setups such as catering or banquet functions to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Foster a positive team environment by motivating staff, managing conflicts professionally, and promoting hospitality excellence.
- Pack/Load/Prep/Unpack events
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining, restaurant, or banquet settings with strong knowledge of beverage preparation.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with previous experience supervising or mentoring bartenders or food service staff.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs confidently.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts efficiently.
- Knowledge of alcohol serving practices.
- Experience with catering events or large-scale banquet service is preferred.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including days/nights and weekends, in a dynamic hospitality environment.
