Responsibilities:
As an automatic operator, you will be safely operating Acme equipment. You will be loading machines with bars, starting the machine, inspecting parts to a conformance, and over time will be able to make adjustments in order to ensure good quality parts are being run. We will provide training and a development path.
Requirements
Qualification Requirements:
Experience with Acme Gridley machines
2 years of machine operating experience
Ability to read blueprints and schematics
Experience in a dirty work environment
Mechanical aptitude
Proficiency in using micrometers and calipers
Preferable, but not required: high school diploma or equivalent
Mechanical aptitude and willingness to get hands dirty is a must
Understanding the manufacturing environment and auto mechanics is helpful
Minimum Physical Requirements:
Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Due to the environment, the following are required: hearing protection, slip resistant shoes and eye protection. Work area is an oily environment.
Work Schedule and Environment:
Second shift (4:00pm – 2:30 a.m.)
The pay for this position is $20.00
