Assistant Manager – New Concept Opening in Versailles

$19 an hour | Full-time or Part-time

An exciting new locally owned concept is coming to Versailles, KY this fall, and we’re looking for a dependable, energetic, and motivated Assistant Manager to join us from the very beginning.

This is an opportunity to be part of the founding team of something completely new in Versailles and take on an important leadership role as we build our team, culture, and customer experience.

The Assistant Manager will work closely with the General Manager and will also be responsible for confidently overseeing the business when the General Manager is not present.

Responsibilities include:

• Helping lead and support a small team
• Supervising day-to-day operations during assigned shifts
• Opening and closing the business
• Training and supporting new team members
• Providing excellent customer service
• Ensuring orders are prepared accurately and consistently
• Maintaining high standards for cleanliness, organization, and presentation
• Monitoring and restocking supplies
• Handling customer concerns and routine operational issues
• Helping ensure opening and closing procedures are completed correctly
• Communicating important information to the General Manager and ownership

What we’re looking for:

• Previous supervisory, leadership, or strong customer-service experience preferred
• Dependable and punctual
• Friendly, confident, and comfortable interacting with customers
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and solve problems
• Comfortable leading others and providing direction when needed
• Detail-oriented and organized
• Willing to work hands-on alongside the team
• Availability for a combination of daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
• Someone who is excited about helping launch and grow a brand-new local business

Previous management experience is a plus, but we’re also open to an exceptional candidate who is ready to take the next step into leadership.

Compensation: $19/hour, depending on experience
Location: Versailles, Kentucky
Position: Full-time or Part-time
Anticipated start: September 2026
