Production Assembler-1st Shift

Job Description Pay: $21.50/hour Location: 26879 Diaz Rd, Temecula, CA Shift: Monday-Friday- start time 5am KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform departmental activities per standard operating procedures, MPS, and Philosophy. Read tags to verify material type, color, and size, etc. are correct. Complete quality control charts as required per standard operating procedures. Produce a vent, window, or door panel with minimal breakage and acceptable quality. Keep all parts (rollers, screws, etc.) stocked at all times. Adhere to safety policies and procedures related to all facets of job. Proper usage of personal protective equipment. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: Previous experience in a manufacturing environment. Window manufacturing, preferred. Glass handling and/or glass knowledge a plus. ESSENTIAL ABILITIES: Compute basic math problems to include fractions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division. Mechanical aptitude and ability to read a tape measure. Good hand eye coordination and the ability to discern colors. Ability to work in, and promote, a team environment. Capable of lifting 20 – 100, per SOP. WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work performed in a warehouse type facility with temperatures subject to normal environmental conditions. Hearing protection and safety glasses required, additional safety equipment provided based on specific job. Work surfaces are primarily concrete with anti-fatigue mats provided where feasible.
