JOB SUMMARY:
Precision machining with CNC machine tools, including but not limited to Lathe, Mill, Grinders, inspection equipment, and work with varied materials and programs. 5-Axis SKILLS A MUST!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Reads and interprets blueprints or works from verbal or written instructions or from the part to be copied or fitted.
- Starts up and shuts down equipment in line with company safety procedures for equipment under power and OSHA requirements. Frequently works with other employees.
- Requires a very high degree of precision and control in work where damage could be high and where muscular control and delicate touch are required.
- High degree of attention and care required, to prevent injury to self and others when operating machine tools.
- Determines specifications for inspection of work, using precision measuring and gaging tools, performing required inspection before, during, and after machining.
- Performs hand operations involved in producing precision machined components. Uses hand tools of the trade.
- Stand on feet for 10 hours per evening.
- Capable of lifting 50 pounds.
SPECIFICATIONS: 1st Shift (8am-4:30pm) Monday thru Friday
- Must be mechanically inclined and detail-oriented
- Previous 5-Axis machining, programing, and troubleshooting experience in a manufacturing facility is required
- Overtime encouraged when available
