We are seeking a detail-oriented and energetic Temporary Data Entry Clerk to support our administrative operations. This role is perfect for someone with excellent computer skills, organizational abilities, and a passion for accuracy. As a vital part of our team, you will handle data entry tasks efficiently, ensuring our records are precise and up-to-date, all while maintaining a positive and proactive attitude. Typical schedule and hours include Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 10:00am to 2:00pm.
Responsibilities:
- Enter data accurately into accounting program systems to support daily operations
- Maintain and update files, ensuring proper filing and easy retrieval of information
- Perform data collection tasks from multiple sources, verifying accuracy before entry
- Use Microsoft Excel to maintain, organize data, and generate reports as needed
- Assist with order entry processes, ensuring timely processing of transactions
- Support transcription tasks by converting audio or handwritten notes into digital formats
- Organize and file physical documents to maintain orderly records for future reference
Skills:
- Proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software
- Typing skills with accuracy and speed
- Experience with databases and office software applications
- Knowledge of basic math for data verification and calculations
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in clerical tasks
- Prior office or administrative experience is preferred but not required
- Ability to perform filing, data collection, and order entry efficiently.
