We're actively seeking an enthusiastic Front Desk Coordinator to become a vital part of our team, playing a key role in crafting beautiful smiles for our patients.
As the first point of contact, the Front Desk Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring a positive experience from the moment a patient calls or enters our office. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, exceptional customer service abilities, and a passion for helping others!
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet patients with a warm and welcoming demeanor as they arrive at the office.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling new patient consultations, follow-up appointments, rescheduling, and confirming appointments.
- Assist patients in scheduling emergency appointments and provide appropriate guidance in urgent situations.
- Utilize a multi-line phone system efficiently to manage call volumes and prioritize urgent matters.
- Answer phone calls and emails promptly and courteously, providing assistance and addressing inquiries professionally and promptly.
- Handle patient inquiries regarding treatment plans, insurance coverage, billing, and payment options with patience and professionalism.
- Document phone conversations accurately in patient records and relay important information to the clinical team in a timely manner.
- Verify insurance orthodontic benefit coverage and process patient paperwork accurately.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area.
- Support other team members as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Provide exceptional customer service.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Friendly and outgoing personality with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
