Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, restrooms, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning supplies and equipment
- Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, buffing, and polishing to maintain a spotless appearance
- Restock supplies including paper towels, soap dispensers, and trash liners to ensure continuous availability
- Follow established safety protocols during all cleaning procedures to promote environmental health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass surfaces, and fixtures to uphold a professional appearance
- Complete cleaning checklists and report any maintenance issues or damages promptly for quick resolution
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in a commercial or environmental services setting is preferred
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques including floor care, carpet cleaning, buffing, and general sanitation practices
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude towards maintaining high cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks including standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment throughout the shift
- Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues clearly
- A positive work ethic with reliability and punctuality as essential qualities
- Reliable transportation and valid drivers license
