General Duties:
· Manage Sales Activities within specified territory
· Increase sales and market share for MMUS products within specified territory
· Provide technical and commercial support to Distributors assigned in territory
· Provide technical and application support to end-user customers in territory
· Maintain, properly use and report on, company property assigned or requisitioned
· Project a Professional Appearance and Demeanor that appropriately represent MMUS Standards
Specific Duties:
With Distributor(s):
- Assist distributor salespersons with calls (visits) to end-user customers
- Conduct training sessions on application of MMUS products, strategies, goals, etc.
- Monitor distributor activities within territory and recommend appointment, termination
With End-user Customers:
- Recommend, Demonstrate, and Sell, technical solutions to customer machining operations
- Trouble-shoot existing manufacturing problems with MMUS products
- Test new and current products on customer’s machines on site
Daily:
- Produce test reports for products tested at customer locations
- Visit customers, and / or distributors to increase sales and market share
- Advise Regional Manager of competitive activities and changes in market conditions
- Maintain mileage log of Business Miles driven
Weekly:
- Prepare and submit Expense Report detailing information required on form
- Prepare and submit Call Report detailing customer visits and activities
Monthly:
- Prepare and submit monthly report detailing activities and conditions in territory
As Required:
- Prepare and submit other reports as directed by Regional Manager, including Annual and / or Quarterly Business Plans for Assigned Territory
Skills & Education Requirements:
· Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent education
· Machine shop experience, operating and / or programming
· BS Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)
· Machine shop experience, operating and / or programming
· Experience in technical application of carbide cutting tool products
· Experience in sales of Carbide Cutting Tool Products
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
