🚨 Marketing & Business Analyst – Strategic Growth & M&A 🚨
ONSITE: 5 days/week in Norwalk, CT office
Our client, Mitsubishi HC Capital America (MHCA), is seeking a Marketing & Business Analyst to join their dynamic Strategy & Corporate Development team. This role is pivotal in conducting research, supporting marketing initiatives, and providing analysis that drives MHCA’s growth objectives, including M&A, joint ventures, and corporate development projects. 🔍THE ROLE: TURN INSIGHTS INTO STRATEGY
As a Marketing & Business Analyst, you will research competitors, industry sectors (including data centers and related industries), and broader economic trends to benchmark MHCA’s performance and identify opportunities. You will support strategic growth and M&A initiatives, prepare business intelligence reports, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver presentations that influence senior leadership. A key responsibility will be converting complex data and research into clear, compelling PowerPoint presentations that communicate actionable insights to the C‑suite team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct competitor, industry, and economic research to track performance and value
- Build models to understand industry cycles and benchmark MHCA against peers
- Support strategic growth initiatives, M&A evaluations, and corporate development projects
- Provide business intelligence reporting and marketing support across business units
- Collaborate with teams to prepare executive‑ready presentations for senior leadership in the U.S. and Japan HQ
- Convert research findings into clear PowerPoint presentations that tell a compelling story
- Assist with sales effectiveness and marketing projects to drive business outcomes
🛠️WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Marketing, Finance, or related field
- 0–2 years of experience in marketing, finance, strategy, or business analysis; internship experience strongly considered
- Candidates returning to the workforce after similar roles are encouraged to apply
- Background in business development or economics preferred
- Proactive, independent, and eager to learn new tools and approaches
- Strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills; able to simplify complex data for senior audiences •
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams)
- Familiarity with third‑party research tools such as Dun & Bradstreet, Capital IQ, or industry association data
💰COMPENSATION: $42,000 – $65,000; based on experience. This role is also eligible for a year-end bonus.
