This role leads the engineering function, encompassing reliability, capital project execution, maintenance, and plant overhaul planning and execution. As a member of the site leadership team, the Engineering Manager plays a critical role in sustaining asset integrity and driving continuous improvement across the site.

Leadership & Strategy
- Lead and develop a multidisciplinary engineering organization including reliability engineers, project engineers, maintenance personnel, and overhaul planners.
- Serve as a key member of the site leadership team, collaborating with peers in Operations, EHS, Technology, Quality, HR and Procurement.
- Champion engineering excellence, asset integrity, and long-term reliability strategies aligned with site and corporate goals.
- Ensure robust asset integrity programs are in place for fixed, rotating, electrical, and instrumented systems.
- Maintain compliance with OSHA PSM and other regulatory requirements through effective engineering controls and documentation.
- Oversee root cause analysis and reliability improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with the Technology Manager and other site leaders in the development of the capital investment program and site asset strategies.
- Provide input to the capital portfolio through asset integrity assessments, equipment replacement needs, and refurbishment planning.
- Lead the development and execution of capital projects, from concept to closure, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets are met.
- Manage project engineering resources and interface with corporate engineering and external contractors as needed.
- Provide oversight to the Maintenance Manager and ensure effective execution of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance programs.
- Lead planning and execution of annual plant overhaul events, coordinating cross-functional teams and external resources.
- Exercise decision-making authority over engineering staffing, capital project prioritization, and maintenance strategies.
- Ensure engineering decisions support safe operations, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset health.
- Asset reliability (e.g., MTBF, downtime reduction)

- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering.

- Proven experience in managing reliability programs, capital projects, and maintenance in a PSM-regulated environment.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
