Quality Supervisor (Mitsubishi Chemical Advanced Materials)

As our Quality Supervisor at the Mesa, AZ site, you will lead a team of Quality Analysts dedicated to ensuring that every product meets customer specifications and MCAM’s rigorous quality standards. This hands-on leadership role is perfect for someone who enjoys building high-performing teams, improving processes, and driving excellence across manufacturing operations. Key Responsibilities • Supervise daily activities of the Quality team supporting manufacturing and sales operations. • Ensure products meet all customer and MCAM quality standards through inspections, audits, and testing. • Oversee and maintain calibration systems, documentation, and quality records. • Lead and support internal and external quality audits, including AS9102 First Article Inspections (FAIs). • Analyze inspection data, summarize results, and communicate trends to management. • Provide technical expertise in measurement tools, GD&T, and metrology. • Collaborate cross functionally with manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain to resolve quality issues. • Train, develop, and coach team members to ensure continuous improvement and skill development. • Support ISO documentation and compliance requirements. What You’ll Bring Education: Associate degree preferred. Experience: • Minimum 2 years of experience in manufacturing and quality control. • 2 years of supervisory experience leading technical or production teams. • Familiarity with ERP systems and quality management software. • Proficient in metrology and precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, and CMMs. Skills: • Strong understanding of GD&T and machining processes. • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and solid models. • Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. • Comfortable working independently with limited supervision. The salary range for this position is $75,000-$94,450. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
