GRAPHIC DESIGNER (Ad Agency)
MBP is a 97-year-old El Paso advertising agency producing high-visibility work for major regional brands. We’re looking for a Graphic Designer who blends creativity, taste, and modern toolsets — someone who can design original creative when the brief calls for it, and also move fast using contemporary tools (AI, template systems, efficient production workflows) when the job demands speed.
Some days you’ll concept a new look or elevate a creative direction.
Some days you’ll customize or adapt template-based structures to work within client brands.
Some days you’ll use AI tools to generate references, solve problems, or speed up production.
All of it requires taste, judgment, and understanding of what serves the client best.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Design digital ads, social content, outdoor boards, print collateral, brand assets
• Create original layouts, campaign looks, and visual systems when the project calls for custom work
• Use AI-assisted workflows (Midjourney/Firefly/ChatGPT/Canva AI/etc.) to speed up iterations, research, references, and production
• Select and adapt quality templates when appropriate — and elevate them beyond “template-level”
• Stay ahead of design marketing trends and apply them intelligently to client brands
• Produce fast, accurate production files across many formats and platforms
• Work with creative leadership to strengthen concepts, visuals, and campaign cohesion
• Maintain clean file systems, naming conventions, and production standards
• Collaborate with strategists and account teams to understand goals and brand direction

REQUIREMENTS
• Portfolio required — must show modern thoughtful design
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Comfortable with AI-assisted tools and template systems
• Ability to apply design marketing trends intelligently
• Organized, detail-oriented, and good
• Experience with outdoor/digital/social production is a plus
