Job Summary: The Graphic Artist will work under the guidance of the Art Department Manager and will be required to work in a fast-paced signage manufacturing facility and should be highly motivated and detail orientated.  This position facilitates the designing of concepts and brand packages while collaborating with the sales team on customer expectations and needs along with municipality and landlord requirements. The role requires a strong artistic skill, technical proficiency, attention to detail and excellent communication. He/She should have a solid working- knowledge of Microsoft Office, Corel Draw, and Adobe Suite. Basic understanding of Gerber Composer Omega is also helpful. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Address any issues that arise during the production process
• Create initial design concepts and final layouts for client approval, selecting appropriate colors, fonts and materials.
• Use design software Corel Draw along with Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop to create and manipulate graphics
• Review designs for accuracy, checking for spelling, color, and sizing errors
• Work closely with the production team to ensure designs can be fabricated correctly and efficiently.
• Prioritize each day efficiently complete sketch request, revisions and work order file set up
• Stay current on design trends, materials, fabrication methods and regulations, including ADA compliance
• Learn and have an understanding of the printing and fabrications process involved in sign production
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines efficiently and simultaneously
• Maintain effective team relationships with all support departments to communicate and coordinate effectively
• Address any issues that arise during the production process
• Follows all company policies and procedures

QUALIFICATIONS  

• High school diploma or GED required; advance education degree preferred
• Proficient in Adobe Suite and Corel Draw with basic understanding of Gerber Composer Omega 
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines; Able to work well under pressure to output high volume, high quality work
• Flexibility and adaptability to handle changing priorities
• Previous experience in sign industry a plus
• Positive attitude
