Job Title: Sign Service Technician and Installer

Job Type: Full Time

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance, and repair of various types of signage, including illuminated and non-illuminated signs.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to signage
• Removing old signage and preparing surface for installation.
• Assist in installing signs of various sizes and electrical needs
• Must be comfortable working off ladders and out of a bucket truck, crane truck and aerial lifts up to 40 feet.
• Read and interpret work orders and follow instructions for timely and quality completion of assigned daily projects.

• Conduct routine inspections to ensure signage is in optimal condition and meets safety standards.
• Utilize tools and equipment safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Secure site surveys
• Pre-wire sites for future signage
• Provide excellent customer service during on-site visits and communicate effectively with clients regarding service issues and solutions.
• Document service activities and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Maintain safe and clean work area
• Ability to travel with periodic overnight stays
• Ability to work independently or part of a team
• Must be will and able to work outside of regular business hours if/when needed
• Attention to detail

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• 2 years electrical experience

• Valid CDL Class D driver’s license

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills

• Must be comfortable working off a bucket truck and aerial lifts up to 40 ft.

• Ability to lift and perform manual labor as needed

• Basic knowledge of hand and power tools

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Experience with electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques

• Reliable and willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and overnights on a weekly basis

• Professional attitude and appearance
