Title : Senior Business Analyst
Location : Regional, Hybrid (Northeastern Area)
Description :
The Senior Business Analyst will play a pivotal role in enhancing data quality and governance across the organization. This position will lead data quality initiatives, implement data rules, and analyze data exceptions to provide actionable insights. The role involves collaborating with global teams, automating data processes, and ensuring transparency in risk management and reporting to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities :
Lead and supervise a team of data analysts, ensuring best practices in data management and governance are upheld.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop, test, and maintain data quality rules for the trade lifecycle.
Conduct root cause analysis of data quality exceptions and implement solutions.
Automate data quality processes and enhance governance, while developing comprehensive reporting mechanisms.
Assess and manage risks associated with business decisions, and escalate control issues transparently.
Communicate effectively with senior management, delivering detailed written and verbal updates on data quality initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience :
A minimum of eight years of experience in data-focused roles, particularly in trade settlement activities.
At least five years of experience in writing SQL queries and reviewing stored procedures.
Familiarity with Fixed Income Electronic Trading platforms and the trade lifecycle.
Strong understanding of all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle and business analysis methodologies.
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, with advanced skills in Excel for data analysis.
Experience using issue tracking and governance tools such as JIRA.
Education :
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
