Pay Range: $75.00-$80.00 Per HR

Description:

• We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer for a contract position in Madison, WI.
• This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software components.
• The ideal candidate will work collaboratively within agile teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using various programming technologies.

• Focus on improving software design and collaboration with peers.
• Understand all software components and drive tasks to completion.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain software of moderate complexity.
• Work collaboratively on cross-functional agile teams.
• Develop, enhance, and sustain software systems.
• Create engineering specifications for software programs.
• Determine development methodologies based on documented requirements.

• Demonstrate theories and practices to accomplish assignments.
• Build features, investigate and fix bugs, and write tests.
• Initiate independent software design with guidance.
• Communicate project status updates to the team.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in software development.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and web technologies.
• Familiarity with relational databases and cloud-based frameworks.
• Experience with Linux, CI/CD, and development tools.
