- We are seeking a School-Based Social Worker (MSW) to support elementary school students in Dutchess County, NY.
- This full-time role is ideal for clinicians who want a predictable school schedule, manageable caseloads, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through prevention, early intervention, and counseling services.
- This position offers strong clinical supervision, training toward licensure, and long-term professional growth in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
- Provide substance abuse and violence prevention and intervention services
- Conduct screenings, assessments, intakes, and referrals
- Deliver individual and small group counseling using evidence-based approaches
- Facilitate classroom-based educational sessions
- Provide crisis intervention as needed
- Lead parent and faculty workshops
- Collaborate with school staff, families, and clinical teams
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Elementary school students (K-8)
- Presenting concerns include social anxiety, academic challenges, emotional regulation, early mental health concerns, and experimentation with alcohol or substances
Required:
- Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field
- Experience working with children, adolescents, or school-based/community mental health
- Interest in prevention-focused, school-based work
- Weekly individual supervision toward clinical licensure
