Description
- The Senior EHR Analyst serves as a bridge between business departments and healthcare information systems, ensuring that applications function effectively.
- This role is integral in troubleshooting software issues, implementing new solutions, training staff, and maintaining essential healthcare information system applications.
- The analyst will collaborate with team leads and other stakeholders to enhance system efficiency and user experience.
- Responsibilities include system maintenance, workflow optimization, documentation, and providing high-level customer service for escalated issues.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent technical training.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience supporting clinical or financial healthcare information systems.
- Strong background in implementing and maintaining healthcare IT applications.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Customer-focused approach with proven support experience.
- Proficiency in office productivity tools and experience with workflow visualization software.
- Experience with enterprise healthcare IT systems.
- Certification in relevant healthcare application modules or willingness to obtain within six months of employment.
- Knowledge of software implementation and project management methodologies.
- Familiarity with vendor service agreements and IT service management frameworks.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams in executing complex projects.
