One of the nation's largest diagnostic imaging centers, with more than 300 locations throughout nation, has an immediate need for an experienced Mammography Technologist. This company has a tremendous reputation for innovation and state of the art equipment in a modern and patient friendly setting.

Schedule: 4x10 OR 5x8 Day Shift
Location: Queens
Responsibilities:
Evaluates images for diagnostic quality, obtaining additional images as needed.
Prepares and sets up medical supplies using aseptic techniques if appropriate. Explains procedures to patients.
Prints film or burns CDs if warranted. Matches with the appropriate paperwork for interpretation.Performs other related duties incidental to the work therein.
Produces high quality diagnostic images in a timely manner while providing excellent patient care.
Treats patients and customers, including family members or care providers that may accompany the patient, with courtesy, professionalism and respect.
Monitors patients' well-being during exam; recognizes patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.

Requirements:
NYS Licensed Mammography Tech
ARRT (M) Certification & Card
Minimum 2 years of experience
