One of our clients, is looking for a Licensed Practical Nurse.
Location: Rockland County, NY
Position Type: Contract-to-Hire
Schedule: 03:00PM-11:00PM & 07:00AM-03:00PM on Sundays & Mondays
Responsibilities:
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
• Supervise and support Medication Technicians
• Complete clinical documentation and incident reports
• Coordinate care with the on-site Nurse Practitioner (weekly visits)
• Use PointClickCare EMR (training provided)
• Act as the primary nurse on shift with leadership support available
• Ensure compliance with NYS regulations and facility policies
• Provide resident-centered nursing care
Requirements:
• Active New York State LPN license
• BLS certification
• Experience in assisted living, long-term care, or similar setting preferred
• Comfortable working independently
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Willing to work at least one weekend day per week
• EMR experience a plus (PointClickCare preferred)
