Key Responsibilities
- Assemble and mount hydraulic valves and related components.
- Fabricate, crimp, and install hydraulic hoses for various applications.
- Install hydraulic systems and components on construction equipment and trucks.
- Read and interpret hydraulic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- Test, diagnose, and troubleshoot hydraulic systems to ensure proper operation.
- Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on hydraulic components.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- Collaborate with shop supervisors and other team members to complete projects on time.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical or trade school certification preferred.
- 2 years of experience working with hydraulic systems, valves, and hoses.
- Proficiency in reading hydraulic schematics and mechanical drawings.
- Experience using hydraulic hose crimping equipment and installation tools.
- Strong mechanical aptitude with proven troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts, shop equipment, and hand/power tools safely.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
- Must be able to lift and move up to 50 lbs.
- Welding and fabrication experience a plus.
- Shop and field-based work with exposure to heavy equipment.
- Requires use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Some overtime may be required based on project schedules.
