EVS Tech - PRN

About The Job:

The EVS Tech performs cleaning tasks maintaining to the sanitary and integrity of patient rooms, patient service areas, clinic and hospital departments, and the general PHO campus environment. This person will be heavily relied upon to scrub tile floors and shampoo carpet within the hospital and clinic locations including St. Ansgar and Riceville. Must be comfortable climbing ladders to wash windows and clean ceiling vents above your head. We are very proud of the cleanliness of our facility and it's crucial to maintain that high standard.

The Shift: PRN

Pay: $15.81, increases with experience. Plus $3.50 per hour for shift differential and $2.00 per hour for weekend differential.

Qualifications

1. Education:
1. High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
2. Experience:
1. Must be able to plan and organize a workload, and be alert to safety hazards.
3. Special Skills & Aptitudes:
1. Must be able to follow instructions.
2. Able to recognize personal learning needs and follow appropriate channels to gain new knowledge.
3. Able to work flexible hours.
4. Able to perform repetitious duties and work with frequent interruptions.

Who We Are:

Mitchell County Regional Health Center is in Osage, Iowa located in Mitchell County, which has a population of 10,600 people. MCRHC is a 25-bed critical access hospital, including a Level 4 Trauma Center Emergency Room seeing 3,200 visits annually. The Surgical Services department performs over 1,300 procedures annually, including specialties General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, Urology, Ophthalmology, Pain management, and Podiatry.
